Once we have received your request, we will assess its feasibility and, if applicable, send you a confirmation/booking contract to present at the ticket office on the day of your visit, along with payment details.

Payment at the ticket office (credit card, cheque, cash and purchase order):

Payment is to be made on the day of your visit at the ticket office of the Towers and Ramparts of Aigues-Mortes.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Cheques (made payable to the ‘Treasurer of the Towers and Ramparts of Aigues-Mortes’),
  • Credit card,
  • Cash
  • Original purchase order (+photocopy)

 In the event of cancellation, please give as much notice as possible.

Payment by purchase order:

Only local authorities and public bodies or equivalent organisations (town halls, public institutions, public and private schools, municipal tourist offices) may submit a purchase order (PO). It is sometimes referred to as a ‘town hall voucher’ in certain local authorities.

A purchase order allows you to pay by administrative payment order after the visit. The purchase order is a financial commitment: it must be sent to us before the visit or, at the very least, presented at the ticket office upon the group’s arrival. It is an accounting document which must be in order.

A supporting partnership: Cultures du Coeur 30

Because access to heritage, culture and leisure activities is a powerful driver of inclusion and social cohesion, the towers and ramparts of Aigues-Mortes have partnered with Cultures du Cœur Gard.

This organisation supports local social services to help the people they assist access cultural, sporting and leisure activities through its Solidarity Ticket Scheme. Working with a network of cultural partners in the Gard region, it develops a range of free activities and provides support based on cultural mediation.

Thanks to this partnership, organisations affiliated with Cultures du Cœur Gard can offer their service users:

  • free admission to visit the towers and ramparts of Aigues-Mortes via the Solidarity Ticket Scheme;
  • free admission for organised groups as part of an event, a guided tour, an accessible tour or a heritage workshop.
