Presentation

Discover at your own pace the models, monumental projections and tactile tables that tell the story in a fun and spectacular way. As you climb the Saint Louis Keep, a jewel of Gothic architecture, you are transported into the military world of the 13th century and the history of Protestant prisoners. The walk continues to the top of thefortified enclosure, where you can enjoy a fascinating panorama of the salt marshes, which vary in colour from pink to crimson.

  • Booking is compulsory. Please contact the monument's reservations department
  • Your group may be accompanied by its own guide. To do so, the guide must have a valid professional guide's card and be wearing the badge authorising him or her to lead the tour.
