The Chevalier d'Algues

Amaury d'Algues was knighted by Saint Louis during the 7th Crusade in 1248. One of his descendants, who was behind the creation of the Compagnie du Chevalier d'Algues in 2012, will tell you all about the life of this local figure.

A history buff, surrounded by a team of young history students, they will share their passion and knowledge of the Middle Ages with you.

Around the camp set up in the main courtyard, you'll be treated to a range of events:

• Fights and demonstrations of medieval weaponry
• Presentation of medicine and pharmacopoeia
• Workshops on games and tableware in the 13th century
