PRESENTATION
Come and discover the defensive principles of fortification, medievalweaponry and furnishings, in a lively, fun scenography designed for all ages. Through models, reproductions of objects, films and monumental projections, you'll be transported back to 1300, when the fortifications were completed.
"Living in the Tower" is a fun, immersive exhibition that invites young and old alike to discover the secrets of life in the Middle Ages. Models ofsiege engines, a complete soldier's kit, 13th-century weapons and armour plunge you into the world of medieval warfare. You can also play a video game created exclusively for the exhibition by students at ARTFX, Schools of Digital Arts, to "furnish the tower", watch animated projections of medieval furnishings, or experience a re-enactment of a battle at Aigues-Mortes.
A visit that's both instructive and full of surprises!
