Opening hours

From the first of September to the 30th of April :
10:00am - 5:30pm (last entry at 4:45pm)
Opening of ticket office: 10:00am - 1:00pm / 2:00pm - 4:45pm
From 4:30pm onwards, the public can choose between visiting the Tower of Constance or the ramparts

From the 02nd of May to the 31th of August :
10:00am - 7:00pm (last entry at 6:15pm)
Opening of ticket office: 10:00am - 6:15pm
From 6:00pm onwards, the public can choose between visiting the Tower of Constance or the ramparts

Annual closing the first of January, the first of May and the 25th of december

Axes Lyon / Perpignan, 33 km southwest of Nimes, 45 km southwest of Arles, 27 km east of Montpellier
From Nîmes: A9 exit 26 Gallargues, via the D6313, then D979 to Aigues-Mortes
From Arles: Exit 4 by the D570 to Saintes-Maries de la Mer, then D 38 to Aigues-Mortes

Conditions of visit

  • Persons with reduced mobility's access to the ramparts is temporarily closed. 
  • Attention, a circuit that is strongly exposed to the sun;
  • The Constance Tower is in a one-way direction, climbed by the lift, down the stairs. persons with reduced mobility's access to the tower is open (except the terrace);
  • Audio-guides: soon available for download;
  • The shop is open from 11:00am to 5:30pm;
  • From 4:15pm onwards, the public can choose between visiting the Constance Tower or the ramparts.
